DJ Avelanche is a veteran Radio, Club and Mobile DJ from Colorado who started 20 yrs ago. His talent exceeds being a well rounded DJ, he’s a singer, songwriter and producer. His credentials include live performances with major label performers from Mase, PM Dawn, to N-Sync. He wrote and produced several tracks for a production music library. In addition, he wrote and produced the Superbowl campaign song for Adidas “Game Time” by Rebellus ft. Denmark. Avelanche is from the West Coast and mixes on several stations across the country including Sprint Radio, AT&T Radio, US Cellular, Alltel, Party Radio USA.net and 1.FM/Jamz. DJ Avelance owns a mobile DJ company who’s contracted with major events such as Adidas, Macy’s, Scion, Northwest Airlines, Kaiser Permanente, Skullcandy, and Fred Meyer/Kroger to name a few. DJ Avelanche currently has a residency with Raindrops Nightclub at Spirit Mountain.

IF I COULD HAVE DINNER W/ 1 PERSON IT WOULD BE … Oprah Winfrey. Her intelligence and success should be inspiring to anyone. Even as successful as she is, she manages to sign every check. That means she is very detailed, organized, has great vision and is an extremely hard worker.
ONE THING I COULD PROBABLY DO BETTER THAN YOU… Is being me, so don’t even try it!
THE MOVIE/DVD THAT I WATCH THE MOST IS… I have two that are a strong tie, Rosewood and Hotel Riwanda. Both movies were real and very impactful. Other major favorites are American History X, American Gangster, Ali, all James Bond films and my favorite funny movie is Me, Myself and Irene.
MY GUILTY PLEASURE TV SHOW IS… I’m really not big on TV & Movies because I just don’t like most of what’s out there. However, my favorite TV series of all time is “The Wire”. I own the entire series and it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen. I hate sappy movies/show but I ain’t gonna lie, I’m hooked on “Love and Hip Hop”. Chrissy is a bad BIA BIAAA!
MY GUILTY PLEASURE ARTIST IS… I have many favorite artists. I love hip hop & R&B that is closest to my heart but I also really like rock and country. I really like Steely Dan’s greatest hits. I also really like The Bee Gees greatest hits collection. They got bangers on there other than “Staying Alive” and the ones most people know. My favorite Country group is Rascal Flatts. Those boys are tight.
I ABSOLUTELY HATE… My big pet peeve is when I’m at a restaurant and someone blows their nose. WTH is that?!?! That is very disgusting and I usually speak up and tell the person about themselves in front of the whole restaurant.
MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT AFTER THE CLUB IS… Any really good breakfast spot. I love breakfast anytime of the day.
